9/16/2023 0 Comments Ncomputing X550 Windows 7 Driver![]() The BIOS is registering the sound hardware. I've uninstalled the sound card and let Windows reinstall it. ![]() It's set to the rear one, but I can't select the front at all. In Windows settings it has a radio button to select either the front 3.5mm jack or the rear 3.5mm jack. The plug has one hole filled in, so that it can only go on the pins one way. The front panel mini-RCA jack is connected to the motherboard in the proper orientation. When sound is played with the equalizer up the sound bars rise and fall with the sound. I've run all of the available ones for that topic and it says everything's fine. ![]() I've gone to and ran Microsoft Fix-it with it getting no sound. I can't get any sound out of windows at all. I go to Sounds in Windows and play sounds and nothing comes out. I right-click them, go to Properties, and do the sound test for the speakers and I get the the up and down tones just fine. I plug the working speakers into the green port and Windows registers them as being plugged in. I go to control panel and sounds and look at the speakers and it has the list of x-series speakers along with the onboard sound device. It also has a NComputing X550 or X350 installed on it with five workstation units attached to it. I have an old Compaq Presario DC7600 that has Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit installed on it.
